Adam Blade is the pseudonym of a bunch of ghostwriters who are best known for the “Sea Quest” and “Beast Quest” series of children’s fiction novels.
Working under Working Partners Limited, Blade has now published more than 250 works of fiction.
While he is just a pseudonym, this has not prevented Working House his publisher from giving him a full biography. Blade has also come up with another pseudonym as he writes the “Beastheart” series of novels under the name AH Blade.
Adam Blade is an English man from Kent, England who is in his late twenties.
He was born to parents who were both amateur artists and history teachers. As such he grew up seeing all manner of artistic paintings drawn up by his father depicting some of the most significant battles in England.
Growing up in such surroundings would leave an indelible mark on his imagination. He also loved the ancient shield and sword that used to hang in his father’s office which the latter told him were a heirloom of the Blade family.
When he was a boy Adam spent many days thinking of the man who first owned the shield and sword. It was from this that he would later create the bravest boy warrior Tom who is the lead in the Beast Quest series of novels.
When he was old enough, he decided to become an author but had no idea what he should write until he remembered the imaginary boy and the old shield and sword.
Since he loved Tom so much growing up, he decided to give young readers the same experience he had when he was that age.
When Adam Blade is not penning his blockbuster novels, he can often be found visiting ancient battle sites and museums.
While his main hobbies are football and fencing, he also spends a lot of time running around after Omar his Capuchin monkey, and Ziggy the tarantula who are his pets.
Just like the sword and shield, he found some inspiration from the two as they are some of the beasts that Tom faces in some of the books in the “Beast Quest” series.
Unfortunately, while he wishes he had one, Adam does not have his own Horse-Man or Fire-Dragon.
Adam Blade’s novel “Ferno the Fire Dragon” is a work set in the Avantia Kingdom. The powerful Eternal Beasts which had previously been charged with keeping it safe have rebelled and began to spread destruction and fear.
Ferno is one of the dragons who had been charged with making sure that the lands always had water and remained under the rule of King Hugh.
However, he has now been turned by Malvel the evil wizard, and has left farmlands to be engulfed by fire, while the riverbeds dried up leaving the citizens threatened by famine and drought.
Only the bravest and truest hero can destroy the curse and free the Beast. But freeing the Beast means using a golden key to pry open a massive collar on his neck that Malvel uses to control him.
Will Tom be able to complete the task when it is not even clear if he is the hero that was prophesied to come in the ancient books?
He will have to go on an interesting adventure as he comes face to face with the Eternal Beast to try to tame it, even as it tries to finish him off.
It is an interesting fairytale-like story with magical, mysterious creatures a kingdom with a castle, court magicians, and knights.
“Cypher the Mountain Giant” by Adam Blade continues to follow the life and times of Tom, the young boy charged with taming the powerful eternal beasts that have rebelled.
He had accepted the deadly and difficult mission to free the beasts and bring back order to the kingdom but soon found that the task may be too difficult for one person.
In this outing, he is working with Srebrny, Piorun, and Ellena his faithful friends with whom they have managed to free themselves from the evil curse of the sea serpent Sepron and Ferno the fire dragon.
This time, they will be heading north to the ragged mountain peaks on the far horizon. This is the homeland of one of the deadliest Beasts which legend says can be found in the “Nest of Eagles.”
The Beast is the mountain giant Arcta, and before he came under the control of Malvel, he used to make sure that the residents of the mountains got all the supplies they needed.
Ever since he came under the control of the wizard, he has been doing everything in his power to ensure nothing reaches the mountains.
Just what awaits them along the road as they get to face the mad and deadly monster the mountain Beast has become.
Adam Blade’s novel “Tagus the Night Horse” follows Tom who completed the first three missions that he had been sent on by Aduro the magician and King Hugh.
He had managed to subdue and free several Eternal Beasts from a spell that had been put on them by Malvel the evil wizard.
Thanks to his faithful friends, efforts, and courage, the fiery dragon Ferno, the sea serpent Sepron, and the mountain giant Arcta had been set free.
But the going had gotten very dangerous in the last mission as Elenna nearly died in an avalanche while hiding in a cave. Thankfully, everything has turned out well and another Beast was set free from the curse.
They are now heading for the Central Plains to fight Tagus the centaur who has been attacking herds of cattle. If he is not stopped, the people of the plains will have nothing to trade or even to eat and as a result, the citizens of Avantia will suffer.
It is a difficult journey but they are determined to ensure that they set the beast free as the future of the entire land depends on it.
Just what dangers await them as they face one of the most dangerous foes this time around?
